Fireworks

I hope everyone had an enjoyable fireworks day. I ate good food and watched fireworks from my in-laws backyard which was very fun despite the mosquitoes. There were s'mores and life totally needs more excuses to make s'mores over an open fire.

I did get horribly homesick for the fireworks of my childhood. We used to spend every fourth of July at my grandparents tiny summer place. We'd build a bonfire, eat way too many s'mores, run around with sparklers, and set off fireworks from the beach.
