Yep, I don't post in ages and then I post about this.

On one hand I'm laughing. I'm laughing really hard. End time prophesies with dates have existed for as long as the calendar, a quick look at the wiki can tell you that.

On the other hand, I'm sad. I'm really sad for these people who get caught up in this, the fear, the hope, and then perhaps more fear and despair as they either believe that they are unworthy or come to understand that it hasn't happened.

It's just sad.

So everyone have a good Saturday. I'm sleeping late. If Jesus comes a second time he won't be too bothered to see me in my nightclothes.

And if you know someone who really truly believes in this stuff, when you see them on Sunday morning, give them a hug.

Goose and her housemates are throwing a pre-apocalypse party tonight. Judging by the number of people planning to come, it's gonna be huge. They plan to have fun and play all the most appropriate songs. I'm suggesting "Last night on earth".

How about "Another one bites the dust"
Or "It's the end of the world as we know it (And I feel fine)"?

That's actually a very lovely thought. I don't know anyone who believes it. I and my friends and loved ones are of those who are scoffing.

I really like the hugging on Sunday morning bit. That seems very sensible. <3
